“We were never shown a tour or how cigars are made...it was basically being shown the display of cigars and then haggling over prices and then we were taken to a souvenir shop with no prices and were overcharged on everything, essentially because we’re American and where we were staying. I would normally never say that, but it was clear he thought we had brought all kinds of money to spend and increased all prices on cigars and souvenirs. I paid $150 for souvenirs that are probably worth $30. It was in a very sketchy part of town also, which didn’t help. I just paid the money so we could…”

“Zero contact with tour operator, no pickup arranged, no refund issued. Between the tour operator and Viator, nobody took ownership of my issue nor refunded my ticket. Absolutely would not recommend.”
Visit Worldmart Souvenirs Punta Cana with private round-trip transport for your group of up to 15. Browse clearly marked sections at your own pace, learn about Dominican culture from an official guide, and shop without required purchases. Coffee or tea is included, but meals are not.

Meet your resort pickup, then visit Taino Gourmet, a small Punta Cana shopping mall with bilingual help, in-house chocolate, cigars, rum, jewelry, and souvenirs. You can sample selected cigars and premium rums before buying. Prices are marked, and the $5 booking fee is refunded.
